We strive to enhance the life of the residents of Clemson Area Retirement Center through financial assistance, education, advocacy, & other charitable activities to promote health & well-being.
The Clemson Area Retirement Center Foundation (CARC Foundation, Inc.) is an organization created by residents and friends of Clemson Downs with the express intention of serving, assisting and advocating for seniors in the community. While a separate entity from Clemson Downs, there is a shared mission of advocating for all seniors through education, donation, scholarships and occasional financial assistance to a resident(s) of Clemson Downs who may be in need.

GARDEN OF TRANQUILITY a joint project of CARC Foundation and Clemson Downs, has been enjoyed by many residents and Downs’ visitors. It is hard to believe that the service for dedication of the garden was held more than 2 years ago.
